We have been running this place in Marathahalli No. 2 for quite some time now. It is a busy area with a lot of noise coming from the main road, but inside the rooms, things stay pretty quiet for the students. We mainly focus on the books and helping the kids get through their regular school subjects like math and science. The building itself is not anything fancy or new. It is just a practical space with wooden benches and some whiteboards that have seen a lot of use over the years. Usually, the students start showing up around four or five in the afternoon after their school ends. Sometimes we stay open quite late when there are exams coming up and the pressure is on. We do not really have a front desk or a receptionist. People just walk in through the gate and find us in one of the rooms. It gets a bit crowded when one batch is leaving and the next one is arriving, but we manage the space okay. The power goes out occasionally when it rains hard, which is just part of living in this part of Bangalore. We started this because there were so many families in the neighborhood looking for extra help for their children. It is just a normal tutorial spot where we keep the books stacked in the corner and try to keep the dust off the chairs. Most of the parents live nearby in the surrounding lanes.
