Globalsoft Pvt Ltd is currently running out of Shaila, Flat No 3 in Mahalaxminagar, Bibwewadi. We’re over at C O Anita Bhome’s place. It’s a residential part of Pune, Maharashtra, India. Working from a flat is different than a commercial building. It’s a bit more personal and definitely less formal. We don't have a big sign on the door. It’s just a regular door in a regular building. Inside, we’ve converted the rooms into workspaces. There are cables running along the floor and stacks of papers on the dining table. We do our software work here day in and day out. Sometimes the neighbors’ kids are playing in the hallway, and you can hear them while you’re trying to code. It doesn't bother us much. We have a small kitchen where we make our own coffee and lunch. It saves time and is easier than going out. The internet can be a bit finicky during the monsoon, but we have a backup. We aren't a massive company with hundreds of employees. We are just a small team in Bibwewadi. We don't have fancy mission statements on the walls. We just have our tasks and our deadlines. It’s a quiet way to work, and it suits the kind of stuff we do. We like the local vibe of Mahalaxminagar. It’s a real place for real people doing everyday work.
