Glamour Beauty Salon

We are located right on Kammanahalli Main Road at a spot called Binny Bande. It’s a very busy area, especially because the Ramanasree Nagar bus stop is right opposite us. You can see people waiting for the bus all day long through our front window. The shop isn't very big, but we make it work. We have a few chairs and some shelves for the creams and oils we use. The name says Glamour, but we are just a regular local salon. We get a lot of people who are just passing through the area or living in the nearby blocks. The noise from the buses and the traffic is constant, but you get used to it after a while. We keep the door open to let the breeze in, even if it brings a bit of dust. We have a small sink in the back for washing hair. The towels are always drying on a rack somewhere. It’s a lot of standing on your feet all day, which can be tiring. We see all kinds of hair, short, long, curly, and we just do our best with what we have. Sometimes we share a joke with the regulars, other times it’s just quiet work. When the bus stop gets crowded, our shop feels like a little escape from the street. It’s just our daily routine here in Kammanahalli. We finish the last cut and head home when the traffic starts to thin out.
