Girls School Gunai

Our school is located on the 2nd floor of the Mahadeva Complex, which is at No.1 on Hosa Road. This is in the Naganathapura area of Bangalore. Being inside a commercial complex like Mahadeva is a bit different than having a standalone campus, but it works for us. We share the building with a few other businesses, so there is always a mix of people coming and going. The Girls School Gunai occupies the second floor, and we’ve set up our classrooms along the main hallway there. It can get a bit loud because Hosa Road is a major thoroughfare with lots of traffic and honking. We’ve gotten used to the sound of the city over time. The classrooms are fairly small, but they are kept clean and organized. We don’t have a playground or a big field, so the girls usually stay inside the complex during their breaks. It’s a very practical setup for a city school. Our staff is a small group of people who handle everything from teaching to administration. We don't have a big budget for fancy things, so we just make sure we have the essentials like books and stationery. People often miss our entrance because it’s just a doorway in the complex, but once you’re upstairs, it feels like a proper school. We just do our best with what we have here.
