Girls Middle School Parisar Katthiwada

We are situated at No. 90 on Hosur Road. It is a very busy spot in the Electronic City area. You can hear the big trucks and buses going past all day long. This is a middle school for girls. The building is not very large but it has enough room for our classes. We have been operating here for several years. Most of our students live nearby. They walk or take the local buses to get here. The morning assembly is usually short because of the heat. In the afternoons we turn on all the fans in the classrooms. It helps a little bit. We don't have any of those fancy modern facilities. It's just a regular school with blackboards and wooden benches. The teachers are mostly women from this part of Bangalore. We know most of the families who send their daughters here. It feels more like a community than a big institution. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait it out. That's just part of living in this city. The school gate stays shut during the day for safety reasons. We have a small desk for the office work near the front. Parents drop by often to ask questions. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. Most people find us because they live around Hosur Road. It’s a practical place for girls to finish their middle school years and get a basic education before moving on.
