Girish Vidyapith (Spl) High School

Over here on 4th Main in Sanjay Nagar, our school has been a fixture for the local families in RMV 2nd Stage for a good while. It’s a high school, so things can get pretty loud when the teenagers are between classes or out for their lunch break. The address is easy to find if you know this part of Bangalore. We’re right in the middle of a residential patch, so we try to be mindful of the neighbors, though the school bell is hard to miss. Most of the staff live nearby, so we’re all very much part of the Sanjay Nagar community. The building itself is nothing out of the ordinary, just a solid place where students come to get through their high school years. We spend a lot of time dealing with the usual stuff like organizing exams and making sure the classrooms aren't too stuffy during the hotter months. You’ll see students biking to school or walking in groups, talking about whatever it is kids talk about these days. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles, just the basics that a school needs to function properly. It’s a steady routine of morning assemblies, lessons, and the scramble to leave once the day is done. We just focus on keeping the doors open and the environment decent for everyone who walks through.
