Girish High School

We are located at No.1400/7 in the Jenu Goodu building, right on the Railway Parallel Road in A Block. Being near the tracks means we get used to the sound of the trains passing by throughout the day. It’s just part of the background noise for us now. The high school students don’t even look up anymore when a train whistles past. Our spot in Sahakara Nagar is quite easy to find once you get onto the parallel road. The building is a decent size and we’ve tried to make the most of the space we have for the different classes. It’s a busy place from Monday to Saturday. Usually, we’re busy with paperwork or fixing something that broke in one of the rooms. There isn't much flair to the place, but it serves its purpose for the families around here. You see the students hanging out by the gate before the first bell or grabbing a quick snack from the shops nearby after school is over. The staff has been around for a while, so we know the local rhythm of the neighborhood. It gets a bit dusty with the road being right there, but we keep the place swept and ready for the next day. It’s just a normal school life on the edge of the railway line, doing our best to get through the curriculum.
