Giri Corner

Giri Corner is situated right at Jayanagar Motor Stand Chowk 102. Being near the motor stand means there is never a dull moment. There is always a bus or a rickshaw pulling in or out. Our shop is a small spot where people stop by when they are in a hurry. We sell various everyday items that people might need while they are traveling or just passing through the chowk. The shelves are packed, maybe a bit too much, but we like having things handy. It’s a dusty spot because of all the vehicles, so we spend a lot of time wiping down the counters. We know many of the drivers who work around here. They come in for a quick chat or to pick something up before their next trip. The space at 102 isn't very large, so we have to be smart about where we put things. Sometimes the boxes pile up near the back door. It is a very local vibe. We don’t have air conditioning, just a ceiling fan that hums quite loudly. When the weather gets hot, we just drink more water. People know us by name around Jayanagar. We’ve been at this corner for years and have seen the motor stand change quite a bit. It’s just us, working every day and watching the world go by from our front door. No frills, just a simple shop where you can find what you need quickly.
