Gireesh Printers

Gireesh Printers is over at 161 Seshadripuram, right by the Three Gate. It’s one of those spots that everyone in the neighborhood knows even if they haven’t been inside. We’ve got the old printing presses and some newer stuff too, all squeezed into the shop. The sound of the machines is something you just get used to after a few days. Seshadripuram is an old part of the city, and it feels that way too. The Three Gate is a busy intersection, so there’s always a lot of movement outside our door. We spend our days dealing with paper, ink, and stacks of finished jobs. It’s a bit messy, with scraps of paper usually covering the floor by noon. We don’t have a big team, just a few of us who know how to handle the equipment. Most of our customers are from right here in the area. They come in for small jobs or things they need for their own shops. We aren’t trying to be the biggest printer in town, just the one that’s reliable for the people around Seshadripuram. Sometimes the power goes out and we just have to sit and wait, which gives us time to talk to the neighbors. It’s a plain, honest kind of business. We do the work, pack it up, and wait for the next person to walk through the door. It’s been our home for years and we don’t plan on changing much.
