If you find yourself wandering around G Block in Sahakara Nagar, you’ll probably pass by our place on the corner of 7th Cross and 18th Main. It’s a quiet enough area most of the time, except when the bell rings and all the junior high students come pouring out into the street. We’ve been at No.6 for some time, and the building has seen a lot of classes come and go. It’s a simple setup really. We don't have those massive glass facades or anything, just a regular school building where the kids spend their mornings and afternoons. The staff usually gets here before the sun is fully up to get the rooms ready. You’ll often see teachers sitting under the shade for a bit during their break or talking about the day's lessons. We get a lot of locals from around Sahakara Nagar sending their kids here because it's convenient and they know where we are. Dealing with middle schoolers can be a bit of a handful, but we manage just fine. There’s always some project going on or a game happening in the little space we have. It feels like a small part of the community, tucked away in this part of Bangalore. We just keep things running day by day, making sure the kids have what they need for their classes and getting home safely once the day ends.
