Gift Lounge

You can find Gift Lounge on the ground floor at 1332, right near Mahveer Jain College. Being in Jayanagar 9th Block means we get a lot of students walking past our door every single day. The 6th Cross is usually full of life. We spend a lot of time arranging items on the shelves and unpacking boxes that come in. It gets a bit crowded inside when a group of friends comes in together after class. We aren't a huge store, but we try to keep a variety of things on hand for whatever someone might need. The lighting inside is a bit bright but it helps people see what is on the racks. Since we are on the ground floor, it is easy to just step in from the sidewalk. We see a lot of the same faces from the college. We aren't trying to be some high-end boutique or anything like that. It’s just a regular shop where people look for something small to give to someone else. Some days are slow and we just sit by the door watching the cars go by. Other times, it feels like everyone is in a hurry. We just keep the place tidy and make sure we know where everything is kept. It is a nice spot to be in, especially with the trees along the Jayanagar streets. We just do our thing here every day and hope for the best.
