Ghem School is located at No.24 on 9th Main in the Sadashivanagar area. This is a quieter part of Bangalore, mostly filled with big trees and older houses in the RMV Extension. Our building is a bit older too, but it serves its purpose well. We have a few classrooms and a small area where we keep the school supplies. It’s not a very big place, so we know most of the people who walk through our doors. The mornings start early here, with the sun coming through the windows and the staff getting the books and attendance registers ready. We don't have a lot of fancy technology, just the basic stuff like desks, chairs, and blackboards. The 9th Main road is generally calm, which is nice for a school environment compared to the city center. We spend a lot of our day just making sure the lessons are on schedule and the kids are where they need to be. There’s always some small thing to fix, like a squeaky door or a window that won’t stay open properly. We don't try to be anything we aren't; it's just a local school providing a place for kids to learn. The neighborhood is very pleasant, and we’ve become a part of the daily scenery here over the years. It’s a straightforward way to run a school, focusing on the basics without much complication or unnecessary fanfare. We finish our work as the evening shadows start to fall.
