About Geramari High School – Education in Bengaluru
We've been here at No.37 on 1st Main Road for a while now. JP Nagar 3rd Phase is a busy spot, but our corner stays relatively quiet most mornings. It’s a high school, so things get pretty lively once the kids arrive and the morning bell rings. The building has several floors and we spend most of our time keeping the classrooms tidy and making sure the chalkboard or the fans are working right. It isn't a fancy place with marble floors or anything, just a regular school where we focus on getting through the lessons. Some days are harder than others, especially when it rains and the road outside gets a bit messy with puddles. The staff room is usually full of papers and half-empty tea cups by noon. We mostly deal with the families from the immediate neighborhood since we're right here in the third phase. It’s a lot of work managing a high school, but it’s what we do day in and day out. Sometimes the power goes out unexpectedly and we have to open all the windows wide to let the breeze in so the students stay cool. We don't have a giant playground for sports, but there's enough space for the kids to move around during the breaks. Usually, by the time four o'clock rolls around, the halls finally go silent and we can start getting everything ready for the next morning's classes. It is just a normal school life for us here.
