Genpact

We are located in the Srinivasam Residency, which is an apartment-style building over at 204 on the 29th Main in BTM 2nd Stage. It’s a very residential part of Bangalore, so it feels a lot different than the big tech parks you see elsewhere. You have people living right next door to where we work at Genpact. The 29th Main is always packed with traffic, especially in the evenings when everyone is trying to get home at the same time. Our office is on one of the upper floors, so we get a bit of a view of the rooftops in the area. It’s a small space, and we’ve had to squeeze in an extra table lately because more people joined. The kitchen area is tiny, so we usually just make tea and take it back to our spots. Sometimes the elevator makes a weird creaking noise, so a lot of us just walk up the stairs instead. It’s good exercise anyway. The residency has a bit of a strict security guard who asks everyone where they’re going, even if he’s seen us a hundred times before. It gets a bit loud when the neighbors are doing construction or when the heavy rain hits the window panes in the evening. It’s not a fancy corporate setup, just a converted apartment that fits what we need. We mostly keep to ourselves and focus on getting the work done.
