Genpact

We are tucked away in the BDA Layout part of Bangalore, right on 4th Main and 4th Cross. It’s mostly a quiet spot except when the school buses go by in the morning. Our office here at Genpact isn't anything fancy, just a regular space where we get things done every day. The building is easy to miss if you aren't looking for the number 2443. Most of us take the stairs because the lift is a bit slow and it’s only a few floors up anyway. There’s a small tea shop around the corner where everyone goes around four o'clock. The traffic on the main road can get pretty bad during the rainy season, so some of the guys stay late just to avoid the mess on the streets. We have a few desks, some old chairs, and a lot of wires running along the walls for the computers. It’s a bit cramped when everyone shows up at the same time, but we manage. You can hear the neighbors’ dogs barking sometimes during meetings. It’s just how it is working in this part of Karnataka. We don't have a big sign outside, just a small one near the gate. It feels more like a house than a big corporate office because of the way the layout was built years ago. It’s alright though, we know the neighborhood and the people around here are friendly enough for the most part.
