Genius School

Genius School sits at No.394 on the 2nd Cross in Dollars Layout. It is part of the 4th Phase of JP Nagar. The 9th Main is the closest big road, so it’s fairly easy for people to find the building once they get into the layout. It’s a pretty quiet neighborhood for the most part, mostly houses and some small offices around us. The school itself isn’t huge, but it occupies a good spot on the corner. I usually arrive early to open the main door and check the mail. We have a small courtyard where the kids gather before the morning assembly starts. The walls inside are painted a light color to keep things bright, though they have some scuffs here and there from years of use. It’s just a normal building where teachers and students show up every morning. We don’t have a massive field, but there’s enough space for the kids to run around a bit during their lunch break. You can hear the birds in the trees nearby during the quiet hours when everyone is in class. Sometimes the water delivery truck blocks the 2nd Cross, which can be annoying for the neighbors. It’s a very typical Bangalore school setting. We do our work, the kids learn their lessons, and we all head home when the sun starts to go down. The security guard at the gate usually has the radio playing softly in the background.
