About Genesis International School – Education in Bengaluru
We’ve been here in the Soujanya Building for a while now. It’s on 1st Main, right there on Silver Oak Street. If you know JP Nagar 7th Phase, you’ve probably passed by our gate. It’s a busy enough spot, but tucked away just right. We have these two units, 18 and 19, where we set everything up. It’s not a huge, sprawling campus like some of the ones you see on the news, but it works for what we do. People around here usually know us just by the building name or the street. The staff usually gets in pretty early to get things ready before the first bell. We’ve got the usual classrooms and a bit of space for the kids to move around. It gets quite lively around drop-off and pick-up times, as you can imagine. We try to keep things organized, though sometimes the street gets a bit crowded with all the parents coming through. Most of the families who come to us live nearby in the 7th Phase or just a few streets over. We’ve seen a lot of kids grow up here, starting small and moving through the grades. It's just a regular place where learning happens every day. Nothing too fancy, just the teachers and the students doing their work. The desks are a bit old, but they're sturdy enough for the kids to do their writing. We have a small staff room where the teachers sit and drink their tea while they talk about the day's plans. It’s a very ordinary life here, really.
