Gems English Medium School

We’ve been here at Gems English Medium School in Arkere for a while now. It’s tucked away in Shanthinikethan Layout, right off the 14th Main. Most mornings, you’ll see parents dropping off their kids before the Bannerghatta Road traffic really picks up. It’s a busy spot but we manage. The school is on No 369 D. It’s not a huge fancy building, just a regular place where we get the work done. Kids come here from nearby areas to learn English and follow the usual subjects. We don't have those big flashy banners or anything. Just classrooms and teachers doing their bit. Sometimes the street gets a bit crowded during pick-up time, but the neighbors are used to it by now. We’ve seen many batches pass through these doors over the years. It feels good when old students stop by just to say hello. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed. We don’t go for all that corporate talk you see everywhere else. We just stick to the schedule and try to help the kids understand what’s in their books. It’s just us doing what we do every day. If you’re walking down the 14th Main, you’ll see our gate easily enough. It’s just a local school trying to stay grounded in the community here in Bangalore. Nothing more, nothing less. Just a simple place for learning where everyone knows each other's names. Anyway, we aren't trying to be anything we aren't. We just focus on the classes and the kids.
