Geetha High School

Geetha High School has been standing at No. 2841 on the 4th Main of KR Road for a long time. We are right at the corner of 17th Cross in Banashankari 2nd Stage. KR Road is one of those iconic stretches in Bangalore, and being located here means we are right in the heart of things. The building itself is an older one, with the kind of architecture you don't see much of anymore in the newer parts of the city. We have classrooms spread across the floors, and they are always full of students from the local area. It’s a place that feels lived-in and busy. The teachers have a lot of experience and they don't bother with anything too fancy. They just teach the subjects and make sure the students do their homework. We don't have a huge field, so the kids usually gather in the corridors or the small open space we have during their breaks. It gets quite loud then, but that’s normal for a school with so much history. We’ve seen many generations of students come through these doors. Some of them now bring their own children here to study in the same rooms they once sat in. We don't have a big marketing budget or a polished website. We just rely on being a steady presence in Banashankari. Every morning the bell rings, the kids settle down, and we get on with the day's work.
