Geetanjali Model School

We are Geetanjali Model School, located at No.23, Ct Bed Road in Banashankari 2nd Stage. If you are familiar with the 7th Cross area in Bangalore 560070, you’ve probably seen our gate. It’s a local school that’s been part of the community for quite some time. We aren't one of those massive international schools with swimming pools and horse riding. We are just a regular school in a regular neighborhood. The building has several floors, so there’s a lot of climbing stairs for the teachers and the older kids. We try to keep the classrooms airy, though it gets a bit stuffy when the sun hits the windows in the afternoon. Our staff is a mix of older teachers who have seen it all and some younger ones just starting out. We don't really have a big philosophy or anything, we just follow the curriculum and try to keep the kids focused. Sometimes the noise from the road outside gets a bit much, but we’ve learned to ignore it. Parents often stop by the office to chat about how their kids are doing, and we try to give them a straight answer without any corporate talk. It's a bit of a squeeze when we have all the parents over for a meeting, but we manage. We’re just here doing our job in this corner of Banashankari every day.
