Geetam School

Geetam School is located over at No 35/4 in Channasandra. If you know the Bangalore 560067 area, you probably pass by us once in a while. We started out small and we’re still not exactly a huge institution, but we have enough space for the kids to learn and run around a bit. The building is pretty simple, nothing too flashy on the outside. We’ve got teachers who have been here for years and they know most of the families in the neighborhood by name. It’s a bit of a trek to get here if traffic is bad, which it usually is in Bangalore, but we make it work. We don’t have a massive budget for fancy gadgets, so we stick to the basics of teaching. The desks might have a few scratches on them, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint one of these days, but it feels like home to us. Mornings are always a bit of a rush with parents dropping off their little ones and the school buses pulling in. We try to keep things organized, though sometimes it feels like a bit of a scramble. We’re just a local school doing what we can for the kids in this part of town. Most of the time it’s just about getting through the lessons and making sure everyone is where they need to be. It is just a regular school life for us.
