Gbp High School

You can find us over in the Konanakunte area, right on Chunchaghatta Main Road. It is a very busy neighborhood with houses packed close together and small grocery shops on every corner. The school building is tucked right in the middle of all that activity. We handle the older kids here since it's a high school, so things can be a bit loud but also quite focused. You see students near the gates or the bakery before the first bell rings. The building itself has a few floors, and the staff spends a lot of time walking up and down the stairs throughout the day. It keeps us moving. The classrooms are basic with just the essentials—desks, blackboards, and some fans. We have a small playground, but it is mostly paved over, so the kids play a lot of basketball or just stand around talking during their breaks. The noise of the school really echoes off the nearby houses when everyone is outside. We know most of the people who run the shops on this street because we go out to grab a tea or a quick snack during the afternoon lull. The traffic on Chunchaghatta road can be quite a mess in the mornings. We always have to tell the students to keep an eye out for the bikers. Our furniture is mostly old-fashioned wood, and the ceiling fans hum constantly to keep the air moving. It’s just a practical, local school for the families around here.
