Gayatri Middle School, Ghopari

We’ve been here at Bikasipura for a while now, right on the ground floor of building 19/1. It’s a busy spot in Bangalore, and since we are a middle school, there’s always a lot of noise and energy around. Most people in the Ghopari area know where we are. It’s not a fancy place, just some classrooms and a lot of desks where the kids spend their mornings. We start early, usually when the sun is just coming up over the buildings nearby. The ground floor makes it easy for everyone to get in and out, though it does get a bit dusty from the road sometimes. We have students coming from all the nearby lanes. Most of them walk here. You’ll see them in their uniforms around No. 19/1 every weekday. We spend most of our time just keeping things running, making sure the teachers have what they need and the kids are actually sitting in their chairs. It’s a lot of paperwork and talking to parents who drop by after work. The neighborhood has changed quite a bit over the years, with more shops popping up around us, but we just keep doing what we do. It’s a basic setup, nothing too complicated. We don't have a big playground, but the kids manage. It’s just how things are in this part of Bangalore. Life here is mostly about the daily routine and making sure the school day finishes on time without too much trouble.
