Gayatri Grammer School

Gayatri Grammer School sits at No. 367 in Udayanagar, which is part of the Chikkalasandra area. If you take the 2nd Cross, you’ll run right into us. It’s a bit of a tucked-away location, which is nice because it keeps the kids away from the heavy traffic on the main roads of Uttarahalli. We have been here long enough that we feel like part of the furniture in the neighborhood. The school building is small but we manage to fit everyone in. We have a few different rooms for different age groups. It gets a bit cramped during the lunch break when everyone is out and about. We aren't a big corporate chain. It’s just a local school run by people who live nearby. We don’t have fancy websites or big billboards. Most families just walk their kids over in the morning. The stairs are narrow and the hallways are usually full of backpacks. We try to keep the place tidy, but with so many children, it’s a constant battle against dust and clutter. Every day is pretty much the same routine. We start early, do the lessons, have a break, and then wrap up by the afternoon. It’s honest work. We know the names of almost every kid who comes through that door. That’s the benefit of being a smaller place in a local layout. We just do our work and go home at the end of the day.
