You can find us up on the second floor at 225 Nagarbhavi, right along the Nagarbhavi Ring Road. It’s a busy street, but once you walk up the stairs and get inside the center, things feel a bit different. The air usually smells like dried herbs and different kinds of oils we use. We have several rooms set up for people who come in for their sessions. It is not a huge place, but we make use of every corner we have. There are shelves filled with jars and bottles, and we spend a lot of time mixing things or preparing the space for the next person. Sometimes the wait can be a little long if we are short-handed, but people usually do not mind sitting for a bit. We do not have any shiny brochures or anything, just some posters on the wall explaining how different plants work. Most of the people working here have been doing this for years and they know the routines by heart. We try to keep the place clean and quiet, though you can still hear the buses honking out on the Ring Road. It is a simple setup where we focus on traditional methods. We do not make any big promises, we just do what we were taught and help people the best we can with the herbs we have. It is a local spot and we see a lot of the same faces coming back every month. It is just how we do things.
