G.A.Shah English School

G.A.Shah English School is tucked away on 7th Cross in Malleswaram. If you know Bangalore, you know this part of town has a lot of old trees and busy markets. Our school is right there in the middle of it on Sampige Road. The building has been here for a while and shows its age in some spots, but it’s a solid place. We have kids coming in from all over the local neighborhood. The mornings are always a bit of a rush with the bells ringing and everyone trying to get into their rooms. Our classrooms have wooden benches that have seen a lot of use over the years. We try to keep things neat, but with hundreds of students running around, there’s always a bit of dust and some stray papers. The staff room is usually full of notebooks waiting to be checked. We don’t have a massive field, so the kids play in the courtyard during their lunch break. It gets pretty loud when they are all out there at once. We teach the regular subjects and try to stick to the schedule. Parents often stop by the gate to chat with the watchman or the teachers after school finishes. It’s just a normal neighborhood school where people know each other. Nothing too complicated goes on here, just the daily routine of classes and bells that keeps us busy.
