You can find us at number one on the 2nd Cross in Amarjyothi Layout. This is right in the Nagawara area, just off the Thanisandra Main Road. It’s a Higher Secondary school, so we have a lot of students here every day. The location is quite central for people living in this part of Bangalore. The building is a simple structure with several classrooms that fit the students we have. It’s not a fancy modern building, but it does the job. Being near Thanisandra Main Road means there is a lot of traffic and activity outside our gates. Inside, we try to keep things focused on the school work. We have a team of teachers who have been working here for quite a while. They know the families in Nagawara and how things work around here. The morning starts with everyone gathering together, and then it’s just one class after another until the end of the day. We have a small area for breaks, though it’s not a big park or anything. The office is usually the busiest place because of all the paperwork that comes with running a school. It’s a very down-to-earth kind of place. We don’t make a big deal out of things, we just make sure the students have their books and a place to sit. It’s been our home for a long time and we just keep it running.
