We’ve been at No 132 on Police Road for a while now. It’s right near City Market, so it gets pretty busy around here with all the people and traffic coming through K R Market every day. We mostly handle food orders for events and local gatherings. Sometimes the kitchen gets a bit loud when we’re prepping everything, but that's just how it goes in this part of town. Our team is just a handful of folks who know how to cook for a crowd without making a fuss. We don’t have a fancy office or anything like that. It’s mostly just us working hard to get the trays ready on time. If you walk past the shop, you’ll probably see us unloading supplies or packing up the van. The weather gets hot in the afternoons, and the road is always packed, but we manage to stay on schedule. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years, though some of the old stalls are still there. It’s a grounded kind of life, starting early in the morning and finishing up late once the last delivery is done. We don't spend much time on the computer or making things look pretty on paper. We just focus on the cooking and making sure the food is ready when people need it. It's a simple operation, really. Nothing too complicated, just daily work in the heart of the market district.
