Ganesh & Gopal

Ganesh & Gopal is located over at 14 Basavanagudi, right on D V Gundappa Road. If you know the area, you know it's usually buzzing with people shopping for flowers or just walking around the market. Our building is right in the middle of all that action. It is not a very big space, but it works for us. We've got two or three rooms where we sit and handle whatever comes our way. The stairs are a bit narrow and steep, so you have to be careful coming up if you aren't used to them. We have been in Basavanagudi for quite some time. Most of the people who come to see us are from the neighborhood. We know their families and they know us. It’s that kind of place. Sometimes we just sit and talk about the morning news or the weather before getting down to the actual work. It gets quite warm in the afternoons, so we keep the windows open to catch whatever breeze there is from the street. D V Gundappa Road is a busy spot, so there is always noise from the traffic and the shops nearby. We don't mind it much. Ganesh & Gopal isn't some big corporate firm with a glass front. It’s just an old-fashioned office where we keep our books and help out whoever walks through the door. We keep it simple and try to stay organized, even if the desks get a bit messy sometimes.
