Gandhiji English Medium School

Gandhiji English Medium School is located at No-21, just off Sarjapur Road. This area of Bangalore has grown so fast, but our school remains a steady little spot in the middle of it. The road outside is always packed with cars and construction, but once you get inside the school gates, things feel a bit more settled. We have a modest building where we run all our classes. It’s not a high-end international school with a swimming pool, just a regular place for regular kids. The rooms are filled with desks that have seen a lot of use, and the teachers are always on the move. We handle everything from the morning assembly to the final bell ourselves. It’s a lot of manual work, like fixing a broken bench or sorting out the lunch schedules. The children are mostly from the local families who live around Sarjapur Road. We see them growing up over the years, which is one of the better parts of working here. The office is usually where we deal with the daily headaches of running a school in a big city. We don't try to sound like a big corporation because we aren't one. We are just a small team of people trying to keep this school running and helping the kids get through their exams every year. It’s honest work and we just do it. There is always some cleaning or organizing to do before we finally head home at the end of the day.
