Gandhibari Hs School

Over at No. 2 on the 5th Cross in Subbannapalya, you will find Gandhibari Hs School. We are just a short walk away from the busy Banaswadi Main Road. The school sits in a residential pocket, so it feels a bit more connected to the people living here. Our building is nothing fancy; it is just a solid place where we hold our classes every day. We have several rooms for different grades, and they all stay pretty busy from morning until late afternoon. You can hear the teachers’ voices and the scratching of pens on paper if you walk past the windows. We don't have a lot of modern bells and whistles, just the basics that any school needs to function. The students come from the surrounding blocks, and they bring a lot of life to the building. We spend our time making sure the registers are marked and the lessons are taught. It can get a bit noisy during the break times when everyone is out in the common area, but that is part of the charm. We keep things simple and practical because that is what works for us. There is always someone in the small office to help with admissions or answer questions from parents. It’s just a regular, hardworking school that has been part of the Subbannapalya community for years now. We usually lock up the gates once all the classrooms are empty and the day’s work is done.
