Gandhi Adarsh High School Ratahara Rewa

Gandhi Adarsh High School Ratahara Rewa is in a bit of a unique spot, being inside the Fifa Goal Project Building right at the Bangalore Football Stadium in Ashoknagar. Because we are at the stadium, there is always something going on nearby. You can often hear the sounds of players practicing or people working on the grounds. The building itself is quite modern compared to some other schools, with concrete hallways and large windows that look out over the sports facilities. We have to walk through the stadium gates to get to the school section every morning. The classrooms are tucked away in a wing of the building. It’s a different vibe being so close to the football pitch. Sometimes the students get distracted if there is a big event being set up outside. We have a small staff room where we keep our bags and have our lunch. The walk from the main road in Ashoknagar to the stadium can be a bit long, especially when it’s raining. We don’t have our own private playground since the stadium is right there. The parking area is huge, but it's mostly for the stadium visitors. We keep our school hours strictly so we don’t clash with the sports schedules. It’s an interesting place to work and study. We just focus on the books while the sports world carries on right outside our doors. It’s a practical setup for us in this part of Bangalore.
