Ganapathi Collections

Ganapathi Collections is tucked away in the Bajaj Complex, right at D 13. We are lucky to be right next to Sukh Sagar in Gandhi Nagar, which means there’s always a good smell of food in the air. The complex itself is quite old and has a lot of small shops like ours. We don't have a lot of room, so we have to be very careful with how we stack our items. Every inch of the shelf is used up. It can feel a bit crowded when more than two people are inside at once. We’ve got a small counter at the front where we handle the cash. The floor is tiled but some of them are a bit loose, so they click when you walk on them. We don't mind it much. Most of our day is spent talking to customers or tidying up the displays. Gandhi Nagar is a busy area, especially in the evenings when everyone is out eating. We usually stay open until the dinner crowd starts to thin out. It’s a lively place to be. We have a small fan that wobbles a bit, but it keeps us cool enough. We’ve known the other shop owners in the complex for years, so it feels like a little community. We just go about our business and try to keep things simple and honest. That’s how we’ve always done it at D 13, just working day in and day out.
