G4S Facilities India Pvt Ltd has its office in Trivandrum, specifically at MRA 35 on Paper Mill Lane in Thuruvikkal. It is a bit of a quiet spot compared to the city center, which we actually prefer. The lane is narrow, and you have to keep an eye out for the turn-off, or you’ll miss it. We manage facilities from here, which means we are always on the phone or out at different sites making sure everything is running the way it should be. The office itself is simple, with a few fans going all day to keep the Kerala humidity at bay. There are trees outside that give some shade, but it still gets quite warm in the afternoons. We have a small team here, and we all know each other well. We don't spend money on fancy rugs or expensive art for the walls; we just have what we need to get the job done. Paper Mill Lane has a certain feel to it, a bit old-fashioned and slow-moving, which is a nice contrast to the fast pace of the work we do. We drink a lot of tea and spend a lot of time looking at schedules. It’s a plain, hardworking environment where we focus on the tasks at hand and try to make sure we don't miss any details.
