G V Caterer

We work out of the Guruvaibhav Building at No.3/4. G V Caterer has been around this building for a long time now. It’s a practical space that suits what we do perfectly. We aren't looking for fame, just trying to provide decent meals for whoever asks. The kitchen is our main focus. Most days involve a lot of planning and making sure we have enough fresh vegetables and spices for the week. We don't use any fancy machinery, just old-fashioned cooking methods that have worked for us for years. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy in the building when we’re moving heavy pots and pans around, but the neighbors are used to us by now. We’ve handled all sorts of requests, from small family lunches to slightly larger gatherings. It’s just about being organized and knowing how long each dish takes to cook. We don't have a receptionist or a sales team. When you call, you're usually talking to the person who is actually going to be doing the cooking. We think that’s the best way to make sure nothing gets lost in translation. It’s a modest operation, nothing to boast about, but we take pride in the fact that we show up and do the work. If you're in the Guruvaibhav area, you'll likely see us loading up the van in the morning. We just keep things moving and try to stay out of the way as much as possible while getting the job finished for the people who hire us.
