G T High School For Girls

G T High School For Girls is located at No.21/16-A, Craig Park Layout, right near M G Road in Bangalore. The 560001 area is one of the busiest parts of the city. Being so close to the main road means there is a constant hum of engines and horns. Our school has been tucked away in this layout for a long time. It’s a place specifically for girls to get their education. The building is an older style, with several floors and some narrow corridors. We don't have a huge campus with gardens. Instead, we have a small bit of open ground where the girls can spend their breaks. It’s a bit of a tight fit sometimes. The classrooms are filled with rows of desks and the walls are covered with student work. We have a library that’s a bit cramped but full of books. The teachers have been working here for years and they know how to handle the noise from the street. It’s a bit of a challenge to keep the dust out, being in the heart of Bangalore. Most of the girls come from the surrounding neighborhoods. We don't have any fancy buses, so they mostly arrive by public transport or are dropped off. It’s a practical school. We don't have a lot of extra frills. We just focus on the daily schedule and making sure the students are where they need to be. It’s a solid, old-fashioned school in a very modern city.
