G P Engineering

G P Engineering is our workshop over at 16/3 in the Peenya Mariyappa Complex. If you’ve ever spent time in Peenya, you know it’s a place where things actually get made. It’s not quiet and it certainly isn’t clean, but it’s where we do our engineering work every day. We’ve got a couple of machines that have been with us since we started, and they still run fine even if they look a bit worn out. The complex itself is always buzzing with activity from other small shops nearby. We mostly handle metal parts, welding, and some basic fabrication. People drop off things that need fixing or drawings for parts they need us to turn on the lathe. It’s mostly just us and a few helpers getting through the pile of orders on the desk. Sometimes the power goes out, or a machine acts up, and we spend the afternoon fiddling with it to get it back online. That’s just part of the life here. We don’t have a fancy front office or anything like that. If you come by, you’ll probably find us in the back with our sleeves rolled up. We just try to get the jobs done so the customers can get back to their own projects. It’s a busy life, but it keeps us moving. We’ve been at this spot for years and don’t plan on going anywhere else soon.
