G K Vale Co is tucked away at Klvijith 1816, over on 3rd Cross, 3rd Stage in Prakash Nagar. Bangalore is a big city, but this little corner of it feels a bit more like a neighborhood. We have been in this spot for some time, and the building has its own quirks, like the door that sticks when it rains and the way the light hits the floor in the late afternoon. It’s a place where we handle a lot of different things, mostly involving cameras and prints. There are old frames hanging on the walls and boxes of supplies tucked under the counters. It isn’t a high-tech studio with glass walls. It feels more like a workshop where people actually spend their time doing things. We see a lot of regular faces from the Bangalore 21 area coming in to check on things. Sometimes we get caught up chatting about the traffic or the weather instead of working. The 3rd Cross can be a bit tricky to find if you aren't looking closely, but once you’re here, it’s comfortable. We don’t use any big fancy words to describe what we do. We just take care of the tasks that come across the counter. The staff here is just a few of us who have known each other for years. It’s G K Vale Co, and we’re just part of the local scenery in Prakash Nagar. It works for us.
