Our office for the engineering college is located at 991 23 Shastri Nagar. We are quite close to the Medical College in Jabalpur, which is a major landmark in this part of town. This isn't the main campus where the classrooms are, but rather an administrative space where we handle a lot of the behind-the-scenes work. It’s a busy little office. There are always stacks of forms and student records piled up on the counters. We have a few computers that are always running and a printer that seems to have a mind of its own sometimes. The staff here is used to the chaos of college admissions and exams. Shastri Nagar is a lively neighborhood, so there is always something going on outside. We get a lot of students and parents dropping in with questions about fees or schedules. We try to be helpful, even when things get stressful. The office is a bit cramped because we have so much to store, but we make it work. We have posters about engineering events on the walls and a lot of binders. It’s a very practical, hardworking environment. We don't have any fancy lounge areas or high-tech decor. It’s just a place for us to get the administrative side of the college done so everything else can run properly. Jabalpur is a good city for this, and we feel right at home here.
