G E T Engg is a small engineering firm located in a village called Kuruthukuli. This is near Ooty in the Nilgiris district of Tamil Nadu. Our office is associated with the home of B.K. Bheemaraj's family. It’s quite a climb to get up here into the hills. The air is always cool and often damp because of the clouds. We don’t have a modern glass building. Our work happens in a simple village setting. We handle various engineering projects from this quiet spot. It can be a bit isolated, but we have everything we need to get the job done. The address is basically a village post, so everyone knows where to find us if they need to. We don't spend money on advertising or fancy websites. Most of our work comes from people who know us or have heard about us in the Nilgiris. It is a modest operation. We have our drafting tables and some basic equipment. Sometimes the mountain roads make it hard to get materials delivered on time, but we manage somehow. We aren't a big corporate company, just a local engineering shop in the mountains. We take life at a slightly different pace here compared to the cities, but the work still gets done properly. It's just Bheemaraj and the rest of the crew working hard every day through the fog and the rain.
