Freelancer

You can find me at 106 Prithvi Apartments, which is in G M Palya over near New Thippasandra in Bangalore. I’ve been working as a freelancer from this apartment for a while now. If you know Bangalore, you know how hard it is to get anywhere, so working from home is a massive blessing for me. My workspace is just a small area in the corner of my living room. It’s got my computer, some books, and a lot of coffee mugs. I do various kinds of work depending on what my clients need that month. Prithvi Apartments is a decent place, though it can get a bit noisy with the neighbors and the traffic from the main road. New Thippasandra has some great local shops, so I often walk down there to get lunch or some fresh fruit. I don’t have a boss or a team to manage, which is how I like it. I just handle the tasks as they come in. Some days I’m really productive and others I spend too much time looking out the window. That’s just the nature of this kind of life. I’ve learned to deal with the frequent power cuts by keeping my devices charged up. It’s not a fancy lifestyle, but it’s real and it’s mine. I enjoy being able to work in my own space without having to deal with the office politics of a large company. It keeps things simple.
