Flying Flavors

We started this place in Adugodi, specifically at Shukawar Peth 74/1. It's not a big fancy spot by any means. We spend most of the morning getting things ready, chopping vegetables and making sure the stove is hot. It usually gets really busy right around lunch time when the workers come out. People stop by when they’re heading home or just need a quick bite to eat. It’s been here for a good bit now. Sometimes the traffic outside is so bad that it makes it hard to find us, but we're right there on the corner. We just do the cooking and keep things moving as fast as we can. There’s not much to the decor, honestly. It’s mostly just basic tables and chairs and the smell of whatever is on the stove that day. We try to keep things clean but it's an old building so it has its quirks. Sometimes the lights flicker when the fridge kicks on, but that’s just how it is. My brother helps out most days. We don't have a big staff or any corporate training. If you come by, you'll probably see one of us behind the counter or out front wiping down things with a rag. We don't do much advertising at all. Mostly it is just people telling their neighbors or friends about us. It’s a quiet enough street except for the motorbikes. We've lived in this area a long time, so we know most of the faces. It's nice to see the same people coming back. We just wanted a place where people could eat without it being a whole big thing. Just simple food.
