First Looks

If you go to 57 near the Mathikere Bus Stop, you'll see First Looks. It is a busy spot because of the buses and the people coming and going from work. We have been here for a while now, running our little shop. We mostly sell clothes and things people wear every day. The shop isn't very large, but we try to keep it looking decent for whoever walks in. Being near the bus stop means we see a lot of different people throughout the day. Some are just waiting for their ride and decide to peek inside. We don't have any corporate training or anything like that. We just talk to people normally and help them find what they need. Sometimes the stock takes a while to arrive, and we have to reorganize the shelves. It is just the two or three of us working here most days. We keep the place open until late because that is when most people are heading home from the city. Mathikere is a lively place with a lot of energy. We like being part of the local market. Our shop is simple, with just some racks and a mirror or two. We don't see the point in making things more complicated than they need to be. We just provide what the locals are looking for and keep the business running like we always have. It is our daily routine.
