Financial Charges Effecting Policy Holders

We operate out of the Indian Academy School of Management Studies in Bengaluru. It is a bit of a different setup because we are tucked away in an academic environment. Our focus is mainly on the various charges that end up affecting people who hold insurance policies. It sounds like a very specific thing, and it is. Many people buy a policy and do not realize how many little fees are being taken out every month or year. We spend our time looking into those details and trying to make sense of the fine print that usually gets ignored. Being in Karnataka, specifically a busy hub like Bengaluru, we see a lot of different types of policies and financial products. The office is pretty standard for a school setting—lots of books, shared desks, and the sound of students in the hallway. We aren't a big corporation trying to sell you a new plan. Instead, we are more like researchers who happen to help people understand why their money is disappearing into fees. It can be tedious work, looking through hundreds of pages of policy documents, but someone has to do it. We do not have a fancy lobby or a marketing team. Most of what we do is just reading, calculating, and then explaining those results to whoever asks. It is practical work that helps regular people keep more of their money.
