You can find us on the 2nd Street near Commercial Street, right at the Jewellers Street Cross. It is a very tight area with lots of people walking by and scooters trying to squeeze through the lanes. Our shop is at 6/5 'E', and it is definitely not the biggest one on the block. We have some glass cases where we keep the pieces, and the lighting is bright so people can see the details of the work. Most of the time, the air is thick with the smell of incense and the sound of the crowds outside. It is a hectic place to work, but there is always something interesting happening on the street. We spend our hours cleaning the displays and talking to people who wander in after shopping on Commercial Street. Some days are very slow, and we just sit and watch the rain or the people, and other days we barely have time to breathe. There is no air conditioning, just a small ceiling fan that wobbles a bit when it's on high. We keep a stash of biscuits in the drawer for when the hunger hits. It is a traditional kind of setup, and we have been in this spot for years. The floor is old tile, and the door squeaks every time someone opens it, but it feels like home to us.
