Our shop is at No 73/1 on the New Thippasandra main road. We have been here for a while now, right in the middle of HAL 3rd Stage. It gets quite busy outside with all the traffic, but inside it is mostly just the sound of scissors and the radio playing some local songs. Being near the Anjaneya temple means we hear the bells in the morning and evening, which is nice. The building is an older one, so the walls have a few marks here and there, but we keep the place tidy. There is a small tea stall just a few steps away where we usually get our afternoon drinks. Most of the people who come in live around the New Thippasandra area. They stop by after work or on their way to the market. We have four chairs, and sometimes when it is a weekend, folks have to sit on the plastic chairs near the door and wait their turn. The lighting is just normal tube lights, nothing fancy. We do haircuts and shaving mostly. Sometimes people ask for things we don't do, and we just tell them honestly. It is a simple setup with big mirrors that have seen better days. We know most of the faces that walk in by their first names. It is just a regular neighborhood spot where the floor gets covered in hair by noon and we sweep it up before the next person sits down.
