Our place, Excellence Hair And Beauty Salon, is on the first floor of building 73/A in New Thippasandra. We are right above Hema Book Store and not far from the Anjaneya Temple. It’s a good spot because New Thippasandra is always full of life and people moving about. Since we are on the first floor, you have to walk up the stairs to get to us. It’s a bit quieter than being right on the pavement. We do hair and some beauty stuff too, but nothing over the top. It’s just a local shop for the neighborhood. We’ve got a few mirrors and the usual chairs set up. A lot of our customers are people who have lived in this area for a long time. They come in to get a haircut and stay for a bit of a chat. We know most of their stories by now. The shop isn't big, but we make the most of the space we have. Sometimes the light coming through the front window is really bright in the afternoons, so we have to adjust the curtains. We just do our work and try to keep everyone happy. It’s a simple business and we like it that way. If you’re near the temple or buying books downstairs, you can just pop up and see if a chair is free. We’re usually here from morning until late evening, just taking things as they come.
