Excel Engineering & Fabricators

Excel Engineering & Fabricators is located in Shed No B 188 over in Peenya. We are on the 5th Main Road, 2nd Stage. Peenya is a huge industrial hub, and our shed is right in the thick of it. It’s a noisy place with the sound of welding and metal hitting metal echoing off the walls most of the day. We do a lot of fabrication work, so there are always sparks flying somewhere in the back. The floor is usually covered in scrap pieces and chalk marks where we have been measuring things out. It’s a bit of a trek to get here if you aren't used to the Peenya roads, but for us, it’s just the daily commute. We’ve got a small crew that has been together for a while, and we just get through the piles of iron and steel that come in. It isn't a clean job by any means; our hands are usually stained with grease by lunchtime. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. We just rely on the fact that we’ve been in this shed for years and people know what we do. The 5th main road can get quite busy with heavy lorries, but once you step inside the shed, it’s all about the project at hand. We just try to make things that hold together and do the job they were built for. Sometimes it takes all day just to finish one heavy frame correctly.
