Our office is on Dickenson Road, suites 501 and 502. We handle the stuff that keeps buildings running. This means we deal with things like cleaning schedules, security guards, and making sure the lights and plumbing work in bigger complexes. It’s not very glamorous work but it has to be done. We spend a lot of time on the phone coordinating with teams at different sites. The office is usually a bit chaotic with people coming and going. We have maps and schedules pinned to the walls. We manage various properties around the city from this spot. It’s a lot of logistics. Sometimes things break at 2 AM and someone has to figure it out. We aren't some massive faceless entity; we are just a team of people trying to make sure these buildings stay in good shape for the people who use them. We’ve been in this building on Dickenson Road for a while. It’s a central spot which makes it easier to get around. We just focus on the day-to-day tasks. There’s always a leak to fix or a shift to fill somewhere. We drink a lot of coffee to stay awake during the busy shifts. The elevators in this building are a bit slow, so we get plenty of time to think while waiting to get up to the fifth floor. It’s just the daily grind of keeping everything functional for our clients across the city. We have a whiteboard where we list all the emergencies.
