Our place is located at No 07 on Palm Grove Road, right behind the Hydrabad Biryani spot in Victoria Layout. It’s a pretty easy landmark for anyone who lives around here. We go by the name Ernst Young Privte Limited. The office itself is just a basic building on a street that gets fairly busy during lunch hours. We have a couple of rooms where we set up our equipment and desks. It isn't a massive corporate headquarters, just a practical space for our team to get together and work. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or working on our computers. The smell of biryani sometimes wafts in during the afternoon, which makes us all pretty hungry. We’ve got some plants near the window that we try to remember to water. The furniture is a bit mismatched, mostly stuff we’ve picked up over the years. We aren't trying to impress anyone with the decor. We just want a place where we can focus and handle our tasks. The neighborhood has a good feel to it, with a mix of old houses and small offices like ours. We’ve had some issues with the internet now and then, but we manage to stay on top of things. It is a quiet, steady rhythm we have going here. Just people doing their work in a normal, everyday office setting. Most of us have been working together for years now, so we know each other's habits well.
